This fairly interesting clip came about after Alex Penvern asked me to shoot something commemorating Distortions´ launch party for Sony´s all-permeating and all-over influential invention (for me not the portable itself, mind you, the game station).
It was a crazy night…Came home an hour before my new students (15 + in all) came round for gulash & severe drinking. Then about 11, Bubs and I excused ourselves, bulloxed aplenty with a `just slam the door as you leave´ and let the students go about their business.
In the street, we turned on the 150´s, and started to shoot. Limo arrived, and before we knew of it, we where there. Undoubtedly, a mixed crowd, the party did achieve some level of ecstacy, a testimony to which I hope this short clip bears witness.
We certainly learned an important, but, I think, very general lesson that night: there is, and always will be, a limit to how much one can muster in terms of rockin´ out before one has to perform…
